The drug agency had managed to get the custody of Aryan Khan, son of Bollywood Megastar Shah Rukh Khan. However, the Court did not grant the custody of Khan as wanted by the agency. While giving its nod for the custody, the Court said it can permit the custody of Aryan only till the 7th of this month.
Advocate General (AG) Anil Singh who represented the NCB told the court that Aryan Khan should be kept in custody till the 11th of this month as the accused were present on the cruise when the party was busted. But the court had cut short the custody limit.
Lawyer Satish Maneshinde, who has a track record of fighting sensational cases like Rhea Chakraborty, represented Aryan Khan in the case and sought bail for Khan saying that Aryan did not possess drugs. He said Aryan was only a special invitee.
The Advocate General had countered the arguments of the lawyer and asked for the evidence or proof that can prove that Aryan Khan was present on the cruise as a special invitee. Hearing the arguments of both parties, the judge had agreed to Aryan Khan’s custody, along with the other accused in the case Arbaaz Merchant, Munmun Dhamecha, and others.
