Mahanati Sets: Vintage And Pride

Mahanati Savitri is one of the legendary actresses that Indian screen has ever witnessed. Savitri who made a career in south film industry especially Telugu enjoyed star status equal to the heroes in those days. She has played numerous roles with variety and conviction which has become a reason for the latest generations to remember her.
A film currently being made on her life which is titled as Mahanati. Nag Ashwin is the director of the film who earlier made Yevade Subramanyam. Keerthi Suresh is playing the title role of the movie. Savitri has been a part of a lot of black and white films and keeping this on mind, the makers of Mahanati have specially erected a set with vintage look. Vijay Devarakonda recently posted a picture from the film's set. It is an office set that looks like a big darbar consisting of a big hall and wired chairs. We usually see such furniture in the olden days. There are also wooden tables and hanging lights. The photo resembles an office from 1980's and we are sure that the film unit is going to recreate the history.
A lot of vintage properties are being used for the making of this and the film's Production unit is working hard to make the movie a history.
