Savitri's Real Family In A Single Frame

'Mahanati' audio event held yesterday in Hyderabad and it was a grand affair with the presence of the entire cast of Mahanati. NTR, Akkineni Nagarjuna, Nani graced the event as guests. What's more interesting is that the legendary heroine's kith and kin attended the event.
Savitri-Gemini Ganesan's son Satish Kumar, daughter Vijaya Chamundeswari spoke on the dais as well. Vijaya's husband Govinda Rao and her elder son Arun, Arun's wife Neethu, Arun's son Rithwik, Vijaya's younger son Abhinay, Abhinay's wife Aparna and their little baby Swastika came on to the stage and posed for a group photograph.
While speaking at the event Savitri son Satish Kumar exuded confidence that Nag Ashwin and said that he made a sincere attempt to bring the unexplored side of Savitri. He said that he had apprehensions when they came up with the biopic idea that it would be another tragic story but he was impressed with him after listening to the story. He said he was surprised that Nag Ashwin could see his mother's life from a different perspective. He said that that he was impressed with all the promos of 'Mahanati' and he is eager to watch the film on the silver screen like everybody.
