Dussehra Releases haven't be able to draw crowds to theatres anymore. All the Diwali Releases have been rated as below par. While Sarkar managed to be just average, Adhugo and Thugs Of Hindostan ended as duds. Whereas, 'Savyasachi' managed to attain better reviews and word-of-mouth than all of these new releases. This is the right time for Makers to promote the film aggressively to give them a second chance to have the last laugh.
Although Director Chandoo Mondeti and Nidhhi Agerwal are keen to kickstart the second round of promotions. Neither Naga Chaitanya nor Mythri Movie Makers are interested in doing so. While Chay moved to his next project, Producers Trio have been concentrating on their upcoming release 'Amar Akbar Anthony'.
Ashwini Dutt had set best example with 'Devadas'. Contrary to the assumption that the multi-starrer will make way for new releases, It ran for more than three weeks in good number of theatres due to aggressive promotions.
