Saying RIP to a dead person is Insulting: RGV!
By: Tupaki Desk | 7 Feb 2022 12:07 PM GMTThere is something special about maverick director Ram Gopal Varma that sets him apart from others. He has a special perception and he sees things differently from how others see. RGV's special thinking made him enjoy haters and supporters in equal numbers.
Going by his same ideology, Ram Gopal Varma found fault with saying Rest In Peace to people who lost their lives. The director said that saying RIP to a dead person is insulting and hence we should say have a better life and enjoy more to deceased people.
Ram Gopal Varma also opposed the thinking that people feel sad about dying people thinking that a good person died. He said that the perception is wrong as death means a good person went to a better place. Instead of feeling sad for death, it should be celebrated, he said.
In a series of tweets, Ram Gopal Varma had endorsed the ideology of celebrating death and said that it is a process where good people go to a better place. He added that people who commit sins will go to hell and others go to heaven.
''People who feel sad about other person dying is because they think a good person died and that's dumb, because a good person went to better place and it should be celebrated instead of feeling sad ..on other hand if it's a bad person who died, why feel sad ???,'' RGV tweeted.
''Saying RIP to a dead person is insulting because people who rest peacefully here are called lazy bums …so when a person dies , instead of saying things like ''RIP' we should say ''Have a better life and enjoy more,'' the director said in another tweet.
