Sebastian PC 524: Kiran Abbavaram's quirky cop drama

Now, Kiran is keenly awaiting the release of his forthcoming film, Sebastian PC 524. But when compared to SR Kalyanamandapam, the buzz surrounding Sebastian is slightly on the lower side. That is the reason why the makers roped in Tollywood heartthrob Vijay Deverakonda for the film's promotional campaign.
The theatrical trailer of Sebastian PC 524 was unveiled by Vijay Deverakonda through his official Twitter handle. Going by the trailer, Sebastian PC 524 is a quirky tale of a cop with night blindness. Kiran Abbavaram plays a police constable with night blindness and how he lands in all sorts of trouble for his natural defect form the crux of the film.
Quirky conversations like Kiran asking his SI or CI to give him only day shifts and not night shifts, and also him asking thieves later in the night not to put his job in jeopardy are funny and they tickle the funny bone. As it appears, SR Kalyanamandapam has a serious narrative at the heart of it, but the proceedings are narrated in a comical manner.
SR Kalyanamandapam's trailer does the job of catching the attention of the audience with the quirky narrative. Kiran Abbavaram is good in the role of a police officer with night blindness. The background score for the trailer is good as well. The ending scene which has reference to Ravi Teja and Rajamouli's Vikramarkudu is funny as well. Now, we need to wait and see if the trailer can build positive momentum to the film as it heads for theatrical release on the 4th of March.
