Security beefed up at Shankar's House
By: Tupaki Desk | 19 Jan 2015 12:16 PM GMTAce filmmaker Shankar is facing the wrath from Transgenders Comunity post the rellease of his ambitious project 'I'.
Reportedly, Transgenders Comunity found the character essayed by popular make-up artist Ojas M. Rajani (a transgender) as objectionable. In the movie, Rajani lusts over Hero Vikram. These particular scenes didn't go down well with Transgenders and this led to protests.
Rose Venkatesan, a transgender TV celeb, alleged Shankar has insulted their community and demanded the director to chop off those scenes from 'I'.
Transgenders Comunity has been protesting outside Shankar's house in T Nagar demanding a public apology from the director. So, Shankar sought police protection and hence security has been beefed up at his residence.
