Can Sekhar Kammula Impress Bunny?

Stylish Star Allu Arjun's recent film 'Naa Peru Surya Naa Illu India' turned out to be a disappointment at the box office. Usually, Allu Arjun films don't incur major losses for the distributors even after the mixed talk. But 'Naa Peru Surya' couldn't continue that trend. Alarmed with the development, Bunny has become more choosy in finalising his next project.

There were reports in the media that Bunny was impressed with Vikram Kumar's storyline and asked him to develop it. There is no further update on the project. It is to be remembered that VI Anand also narrated a story to Bunny a few months back. As Bunny didn't confirm on the project, VI Anand reportedly approached Ravi Teja with the same subject. Apart from these projects, there is an interesting update is coming out from the Film Nagar.

Sekhar Kammula recently narrated a story to Bunny and the hero also impressed with it. But he has two concerns with his project. One is.. the story has political touch and he doesn't want to do a film with political touch. So, Kammula has to minimise the political angle in the film. The second reason is that Kammula films lack mass appeal and they are bit slow. For an energetic mass hero like Bunny, it will be a detriment. If Kammula can play it to the galleries then Bunny may give him his green signal. Let us see what happens.
