Not many know that senior Telugu actress Lakshmi who played the role of Mahesh Babu's mother/vadina in "Murari" movie is known for her hot charms and skin shows. In 1975, her film "Julie" in Hindi became a smashing hit and that also unveiled her bold side to audiences.
Later in 2004, Miss India Neha Dhupia tried to repeat that feat under Deepak Shivdasani direction. While Neha's backless and semi-nude shows as a call girl won fame, the film tanked at box office. Now the same director is making a sequel to this movie, Julie 2 with Lakshmi Rai in the lead, whose poster is released already.
We have to see if spicy Lakshmi Rai will repeat a hot Lakshmi act or end up like a Neha.
