Senior Heroines Comeback Hopes Shattered!
X
Over the past few years, a lot of heroines who enjoyed crazy stardom back in the 80s and 90s are making their re-entries as character artists into Tollywood. We have seen Nadhiya, Tabu, Khushboo, Revathi, Radhika and many others playing very important roles in Telugu star hero films. Senior heroines like Raashi, Sangeetha, Indraja and others are appearing in mother roles nowadays.

But there is one Hindi actress who is struggling to make a comeback and become busy again. We are talking about Bhagyasree who became an instant star after the release of her debut film 'Maine Pyaar Kiya' which came out in 1989. After working in a few movies, she took a break from acting and focused on her personal life. She is trying to become a busy actress once again but luck is not in her favor this time.

She played the role of Prabhas' mother in 'Radhe Shyam'. Many said that such a big artist was wasted in such a small role in this pan-Indian project. As a matter of fact, she had nothing to do with the film and the few scenes she appeared in did not showcase her acting potential.

Before 'Radhe Shyam', she played the role of Kangana Ranaut's mother in Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalitha's biopic titled 'Thalaivi'. Though the film got a decent talk, it was not a commercial success in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi languages. He even acted in a Kannada film back in 2019 but it backfired too. Many are suggesting that she needs to choose her roles carefully from now on and makes sure that they have importance along with scope to perform.

Coming to 'Radhe Shyam', this epic love drama has Pooja Hegde playing the female lead named Prerna. Prabhas will be seen as a world-renowned palmist in this movie. This movie is produced under UV Creations, Gopi Krishna Arts and T-Series banners. Manoj Paramahamsa is the cinematographer while Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao is the editor for 'Radhe Shyam'. Justin Prabhakaran is the music composer for South Indian languages. A lot of actors including Murali Sharma, Sachin Kedkar, Priyadarshi, Sasha Chetri, Kunal Roy Kapoor, Krishnam Raju, Jagapathi Babu and others worked on this movie.
