Sensational Actress Film Lined Up For OTT Release

The on-going pandemic has left us all in a crisis. The demand for content on TV, OTTs has surged double the need and all the platforms like Netflix, Amazon Prime and Disney Hotstar are desperately adding content to help their audience by running back mainstream filmmakers.
In Bollywood, almost all the small films have released on Amazon Prime recently. The sudden crisis has left the producers of the film just with one option and that is- sell it to OTT!
India's most subscribed OTT giant Amazon Prime is on a streaming spree. Starting with Tamil Film 'Ponmagal Vandal' (May 29), Hindi film 'Gulabo Sitabo' (June 12), Tamil Film 'Penguin' (June 19).
Now the next film is a Tamil Film 'Danny' starring Varalaxmi Sarath Kumar. The film is produced by PG Muthaiah and is directed by Santhana Murthy. It remains to be seen how this much anticipated film rules the OTT platform as all the recent releases have gone without appreciation from the audience! 'Danny' is the story of Varalaxmi Sarath Kumar's Dog.
Of late Producers are not risking their investments any more and thus looking towards OTT platforms to make money in this crisis. They are fearing the uncertainty looming over the opening of the Theaters anytime soon. It is said that many small films are ready queuing up to stream on different OTTs this crisis season!
