He is arriving with 'Major' which is a biopic of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan who gave his life during the Mumbai '26/11 Attacks'. After a few delays, the final schedule has begun and the team is shooting at a brisk pace.
A few romantic scenes between Sesh and heroine Saiee Manjrekar are being filmed in this schedule along with some sequences where Adivi Sesh will be seen as a young Sandeep during his NDA (National Defence Academy) days. 'Major' is a tribute to the soldier who fought valiantly and put his nation and people before everything else.
Versatile actor Prakash Raj will be seen as his father while Revathi is going to show her acting prowess as the protagonist's mother in this real-life story. 'Major' is being directed by Sashi Kiran Tikka who made 'Goodachari' earlier with Sesh. Abburi Ravi has penned the dialogues while Adivi Sesh himself provided the screenplay. Maratha beauty Saiee Manjrekar will be making her Telugu debut with 'Major'. She will be seen as Sandeep's love interest while Telugu girl Sobitha Dhulipala is playing a key role in this film. This pan-Indian project is produced jointly by Sony Pictures India, A+S Movies and GMB Entertainments jointly.
Adivi Sesh is in top form right now with hits like 'Goodachari', 'Kshanam' and 'Yevaru'. The audience fell in love with his script selection and he went through a complete makeover for 'Major'. He developed a muscular body and even perfected the look. The teaser which came a few months back got a very positive response and increased the expectations over the film heavily.
