Superstar Refunds Money To Distributors

If the film clicks well at the box office fine.. otherwise buyers and distributors have to suffer huge losses. We have seen several star hero films tanking at the box office resulting in huge losses to the distributors.
If we talk about recent Bollywood star hero films which turned out to be disasters at the box office 'Tubelight' is one of them. As the losses were very high, Salman stepped into the scene to rescue the distributors by returning a part of his remuneration. Now, it is the turn of another Bollywood Superstar Shah Rukh Khan because his film 'Jab Harry Met Sejal' turned out to be a failure at the box office. The movie was supposed to collect Rs.100 for break even but the movie settled down with just Rs. 64 crores. A
Considering the situation of distributors, Shah Rukh reportedly compensated their losses by 30%. It is not the first time Shah Rukh Khan compensated for the losses of distributors. He did the same for his earlier films 'Dilwale'.. 'Ashoka'.. 'Paheli'.
