There is no hero in this country who takes 100 crores as direct remuneration. So, a hero taking 100 crores for a web-series might seem unrealistic but it is true as per the Bollywood media. This deal was not given to superstars like Shah Rukh Khan or Akshay Kumar but for a young hero like Shahid Kapoor.
News is that Shahid made a deal of 100 crores with world's No.1 OTT platform Netflix for a web-series. The team of Netflix is planning to make a world-class action thriller with a humongous budget and filmmakers duo Raj-DK are going to make it.
Post the blockbuster verdict of 'Kabir Singh', Shahid is taking 40 crores per film and since a web-series need a lot of dates, he is reportedly taking around 100 crores of remuneration for this web-series. Netflix is known for making original content with a huge budget in foreign languages but with its market growing drastically in India, they planned this high-budget web-series.
Raj-DK are talented filmmakers who made interesting movies like 'Shore in The City', 'Go Goa Gone', Stree', A Gentleman' and they even made an Amazon Original Series called 'Family Man' which was a super success.
