Bollywood star Shahid Kapoor is working very hard to fill in the big boots of Nani for the remake of 'Jersey'. He is seen practicing rigorously to attain perfection in playing cricket. As we know, 'Jersey' is a sports drama where the protagonist is a passionate cricketer. To match that intensity, Shahid decided to spend some quality time on the field before hitting the film's sets. He recently posted a picture of him taking batting lessons and captioned it, "#jersey the prep begins".
After remaking 'Arjun Reddy' as 'Kabir Singh' and scoring a blockbuster, Shahid Kapoor once again opted for a remake with 'Jersey'. Much like 'Kabir Singh', he managed to rope in 'Jersey's original director Gautham Tinnanuri to handle this project. This remake is being produced by Aman Gill, Dil Raju, and Allu Aravind. The makers have announced that this film will be on the silver screen by 28th August 2020.
