'Arjun Reddy' created a sensation at the box office last year and the majority of the audience and celebrities termed it as a pathbreaking film. The way director Sandeep Reddy Vanga presented the hero character in a bold style without any sugar coat has struck a chord with the youth. The movie is being remade into several languages and director Sandeep Reddy Vanga is directing the Hindi remake now.
Bollywood star Shahid Kapoor is reprising Vijay Deverakonda role in Hindi. Shahid's wife Mira Rajput is pregnant and she expecting her second child soon. As Shahid wants to stay with his wife during the delivery period, he has preponed the film schedule to the first week of August. Shahid' concern for his wife is getting good appreciation from everybody.
'Arjun Reddy' remake is his next film for Shahid after blockbuster film 'Padmaavat'. Though the first choice for the Hindi remake was not Shahid, the makers have finalised him considering his outstanding performance in 'Udta Punjab' as a drug addict singer.
