Shahrukh Khan and Gauri Khan celebrate their 25th Wedding Anniversary Today. They tied the knot on October 25th, 1991.
Actually, SRK had fallen madly in love with Gauri Khan at the age of 19. Its love at first sight for the Teenager and Gauri was just 14 then. They got married after being in a relationship for 5 years.
Gauri, a Hindu, belongs to the Brahmin community and all the family members were strict vegetarians. To impress Gauri's Father, Shahrukh attended a function in Gauri's House and introduced himself as a Hindu.
SRK and Gauri had few fights in the initial years. Once, Gauri even thought of break-up and leaven for Mumbai with her friends. Upon knowing it, Shahrukh revealed about his love story to his Mother and took money from him to reach Mumbai. He kept searching at all the beaches as Gauri loves being at such places.
