Star Power is not usually judged by his lastest film's business after a great success. It is vice versa. It is actually the business capacity despite of his past failures. If we take that into consideration, Shah Rukh Khan is still a Super Star. Because his upcoming film 'The Ring' theatrical rights fetched 100+ crore. Considering the fact that his recent films Raees, Fan, Dilwale didn't meet the expectations at the ticket windows, it is said to be a huge price.
If we include satellite, audio and other rights to the theatrical rights figure.. that w0uld be a staggering figure indeed. There were comparisons with the two other Khans.. Aamir & Salman in the recent past. The critics are saying that Shah Rukh is just as any other star.. but not Badshah of Bollywood anymore. But his upcoming film's pre release business proves him otherwise.
The Ring(working title) is directed by Imtiyaz Ali. Anushka Sharma, Evelyn Sharma are the female leads in the film. This romantic drama is slated for release on August 11, 2017.
