Bollywood Badshah Shahrukh Khan starrer 'Zero' is undoubtedly one of the most awaited movies in 2018. After 'Thugs of Hindostan' and 'Manikarnika', 'Zero' is going to be the high budget movie to hit the screens. The movie is slated for Christmas release in December and each and every update of the movie is sure increasing the expectations on the film.
'Zero' is going to be made with the highest budget ever in Shahrukh Khan's career. It seems like the makers of the movie have already invested a budget of 200 crores. But how they are going to get back those amount has now become a hot topic. When considered Shahrukh Khan's career-best VFX movie 'Raavan', the budget of 'Zero' has already crossed it. When asked if Shahrukh Khan and the makers are in pressure, we have been hearing some interesting answers. The trade analysts are commenting that with the exceptional business skills of Shahrukh Khan and his charismatic style, making a recovery of 200 crores is not that tough. As per the Bollywood acclaimed movie critic, Taran Adarsh even Raavan movie which got the disaster talk made big amounts with digital and satellite rights. The movie ended up as a flop but the digital and satellite rights recovered half of the budget. Also owing to Aanand L Rai's track record, 'Zero' is expected to make huge business. "Today, China has opened up as a huge market. After Aamir and Salman, you can expect an Rs 300-crore grosser from Shah Rukh too" said Taran Adarsh.
Also, in the total budget of 'Zero' movie 200 crores, the makers have already recovered raked 130 crores with the satellite rights, digital rights, music rights etc. The Sony Pictures has already bagged the satellite rights. Also, the online streaming giant Netflix bagged the digital rights and both of them made huge deals which recovered the majority part of the budget. Also, Anand L Rai's lady oriented movie 'Tanu Weds Manu' made 150 crores at the box office and having a big gun like Shahrukh Khan, making a business of 500 crores is not difficult.
