A lie can travel half way around the world while the truth is putting on its shoes...this is one of the famous quotes of Mark Twain. Similarly rumors spread like wildfire. There was a rumor at the time of Sardar Gabbar Singh shoot that Pawan Kalyan had slapped comedian Shakalaka Shankar. Nobody knows the truth behind it. Neither Pawan Kalyan nor Shakalaka Shankar responded on these rumors till now. When Shakalaka Shankar was asked about it, he said it was just a rumor.
He went on to say that "Do you believe if someone says Lord Sriram slapped Bhakta Ramadas? Do you believe if someone says Lord Venkateswara slapped Annamayya ? This is also similar.. Pawan is like a god to me and I'm his devotee. So don't believe the rumors".
He went on to say that "Pawan will be busy with several things and he has crore of die hard fans like me. He has every right to get angry upon us". He has requested people not to spread unnecessary rumors on a person like Pawan who will not even harm an ant.
