Shakalaka Action 'Shankar'!

A comedy show on Telugu Television, gave comedy artist Shankar his name, Shakalaka Shankar and his fame as well. With his impeccable timing, he went onto become one of the top comedians in the Industry.
Like Sunil, Ali, Sapthagiri, he is also trying to become a hero on screen. But his predecessors did not try to introduce themselves as action heroes.
They did two to three comic films and then tried their best to become action heroes. While Sunil did entertain in one or two as action hero, he failed to last in that space long and even his comedy films are not working these days.
Ali never tried to heavy action films but one-time at the height of his powers in late 90's, he did try out some action films that cost him his career. Sapthagiri is trying a mix of both worlds, comedy and action. We have to wait and see, how will his future films fare.
Now, Shakalaka Shankar is trying his hand as the lead actor in his new film, Shambo Shankara. The first look poster has been released and it looks like the actor chose complete action route for his debut.
He said that Sridhar, the director of the film, came up with a story that he couldn't resist to do and it will be a serious film that will suit his body language. The fate of his elders must have given some lessons to Shankar and we have to wait and see, if he learned or will he repeat same mistakes?!
