Shakeela, the Malayalam actress, was most famous for her presence in the B grade movies. She was the sensation during the 1990's when Malayalam film industry was known for maximum B grade movies. The actress was also seen in Telugu and Tamil movies. She played prominent and comic roles in most of the star-studded Telugu movies. After a point of time, she started running out of offers and finally took a break from film.
Shakeela is now making a comeback into the movies. The actress is going to appear in the upcoming Telugu movie titled Kobbari Matta which stars Burning Star Sampoornesh Babu in the lead. With the confidence she gained after acting in the film, the actress finally decided to come up with a strong female-centric subject. The actress announced her 250th project which is based on a real incident that took place in Kerala.
