'Shakeela' Trailer Talk: Richa Raises Heat While Trailer Fails To Pack A Punch!

Bollywood actress Richa Chadda is doing a biopic of popular Malayali star actress Shakeela. Directed by Indrajit Lankesh, the Telugu trailer of 'Shakeela' has been released a while ago.
As we know, Shakeel is a popular star who made the youth go crazy in 90's and 2000's. Her bold adult films were sensational at that time and she bagged huge stardom across South India. The film made an attempt to showcase the ups and downs in her life.
Award-winning actor Pankaj Tripathi played the role of a huge star who encourages Shakeela in the beginning but starts to suppress her once she threatens his stardom. All the criticism she faced and how she was blocked were given in the trailer.
Richa looked quite glamorous and went all out in terms of skin show to suit the character while Pankaj Tripathi did a great job. Barring these two, the trailer fails to pack a punch as it reminds of 'Dirty Picture' all the way and the editing seem a bit hurried. Hope that the film is better than the trailer.
'Shakeela' is produced by Sammy Nanwani and Saravana Prasad. The rest of the cast includes Ester Noronha, Rajeev Pillai and Sheeva Rana. It is releasing in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam languages.
