Actor's Brother Files Rs 100 Cr Defamation Suit

Debutante Filmmaker Shamasuddin Siddiqui filed a Rs 100 crore defamation suit against a publication for making sexual harassment allegations. Shamasuddin Siddiqui is directing 'Bole Chudiyaan' which stars his brother Nawazuddin Sidduqui and Mouni Roy.
As per the publication, Shamasuddin Siddiqui's objectionable behaviour made it really difficult for the female actors to work with him and he has got an attitude problem.
Shamasuddin Siddiqui complains that the published article has maligned his reputation. He sought Rs 100 crore as the compensation for damaging his image with baseless allegations.
Nawazuddin Sidduqui is an acclaimed actor. 'Photograph' directed by Ritesh Batra was his last film. 'Bole Chudiyaan' which marks the directorial debut of his brother releases in October 2019.
