What to happened to Shamili after Oye?

It is known that Oye movie heroine Shamili is coming back to films after nearly 6 years of absence. She will be seen in Vikram Prabhu's next and Danush's next movie. What happened to her in these 6 years?
"As soon as I finished college, I got the opportunity to act in a Telugu film. At that time itself, I had applied in a Singapore University for higher studies. So, after the film's release when I got the opportunity to study, I decided to go ahead", says Shamili. She confirmed that living independently is what she likes and did that for 3 years in Singapore. Also after graduating in Chennai, she finished her Masters In Film Studies in Singapore.
Maybe after working as heroine for a while, she may take up direction too.
