Tollywood is a huge market for Kollywood director Shankar. Majority of his films like Robo, Aparichithudu and few others minted huge profits in this region. Similarly, Shankar kept most his hopes on Tollywood after Kollywood regions. It seems that Shankar kept the Andhra selling rights as 30 Crores for I.
This is a huge sum for Tollywood producers but one producer can spare that money for big shot films. He is none other than Mega producer Allu Aravind. While producers like Dill Raju and Bellamkonda Suresh lost lots of money due to wrong selections and timings, Allu Aravind took his hands off the bar during this span.
He is now in the plan of banging back into the Tollywood as almost all the issues got settled. Allu Aravind has the experience of handling heavy projects like Magadheera and Ghajini in the past and hence Shankar kept all his hopes on this producer for Tollywood rights. Other producers are asking the rights for 20 Crores.
