Will Bharateeyudu-2 Happen?

Shankar and Kamal Haasan created a huge sensation with the film, Indian/Bharateeyudu 25 years ago. Kamal's character as Indian and his dual role in the movie is still talked about.

The movie is also one of the biggest commercial hits of Kamal Haasan. Before going into National General Elections, he wanted to remind people of his most popular avatar fighting the corruption in society.

It would have worked as his big campaign motivator as many people would have walked into the theatres to see him as Indian again and that would have helped him to take his political ideas further.

Now, there is a good chance that movie might not happen. Shankar wanted to finish 2.0 works by January and start shoot of Indian from March.

But 2.0, VFX works got delayed so much that the release date of the movie is now not known to the makers too.

They are unable to even hint when we can expect the movie. Many thought Kamal Haasan and Shankar will start working on Indian 2 from July but now, the movie could only happen next year, that too, if Kamal is not too busy with politics and Shankar can complete the movie, 2.0.

Let's hope that everything goes smoothly and we can see the continuation of Indian character and what will he do, in present times.
