'2.0' Is Different From Robo

Shankar and Rajinikanth's combination has set fire at the box office with their film Robo. After 7 years, a sequel is being made for the film and the makers named it as 2.0. There are a lot of reports which claim that 2.0 happens to be the sequel for Robo which is partially true. Except for the part that Rajini will be seen as a Robot, there won't be any similarity to the first and second parts. The sources close to the film unit revealed that 2.0 is not a continuation for Robo and we also won't be seeing Chitti - The Robor again in the second part.
Rajinikanth will be seen as a scientist and Robot in the second part. Except for the characters, the entire storyline will be different from what we have witnessed in the first part. The recent making video of the film raised the curiosity on the film and Akshay Kumar plays the lead antagonist in the movie. It is interesting to see the combination of Rajini and Akshay on the screen.
On the promotions front, the makers planned a teaser launch in Hyderabad in the coming month. The makers will release the theatrical trailer in the month of December. The film is releasing on 25th January 2018.
