Rajnikanth doesn't need an introduction and he is the most successful Superstar in Indian Cinema. He is able to give confidence to a director to think beyond budget confinements with his popularity and that's the reason, budget for 2.0, sequel of Shankar's Enthiran/Robo doesn't really surprise many but make us think, what will be real potential of the film, if it gets a blockbuster talk from day one like many Shankar movies did till, Enthiran/Robo.

Even though Shankar's last two movies I and Snehitudu did not line upto the expectations, Shankar has been able to come up with a film that costs 450 crores as per the producer's claim, all that is due to Rajnikanth and their combination. Shankar has mesmerised many audience and even stars with his dedication and amazing talent but he is amazed by the dedication of Superstar.

He said, "In peak of the Summer, Rajni sir had to wear an Iron suit that weighs 12 kgs. At his age, we normally see many people complaining about all the things, but not Rajni sir. He looked comfortable and stayed focused on the movie. Even when we are shooting a coffin scene, he did not hesitate to wait for hours to get everything done. I was amazed by his dedication. After him, it is Rahman who amazes me. There is a constant pressure on us to create good music as our prior albums have been bigger hits. I think it is impossible but he takes them as challenge. For Enthiran, we needed to creste an unique sound for the situation of a Robo falling for a human girl. He did with ease and here we created a tune for two Robos and that is quite unique too."
