Shankar To Try Something Different With Charan This Time!

Top director Shankar is considered as one of the best in business. He never faced a single flop till 'Robo' and his movies are known for their social messages laced with commercial elements. The first thing that comes to our mind when we think about Shankar is the grandeur. He is the first director in South to make films on over 100 crores and spend huge sums of money on songs and special effects.
He was considered as James Cameroon of South India till Rajamouli started to occupy that place. Shankar is going through a rough phase in his career right now with films like 'I' and '2.0' ending up as average entertainers despite their top-notch technical quality. He started 'Indian 2' with Kamal Hassan but stepped out of it due to issues with the production house. After a lot of legal battles, he is now looking to move forward with his upcoming projects.
He announced two projects recently. While one is with Ram Charan as the lead and Dil Raju as the producer, the other film is a Hindi adaptation of his own film 'Anniyan'. Ranveer Singh will play the lead role in this much-awaited film. He will be beginning Charan's film first and the pre-production works have already begun. The one thing that concerns everyone is the time Shankar usually takes for completing a film.

Reports suggest that he made a promise to Dil Raju that he will make his project with Ram Charan is ready by the summer of 2022. He is also looking to shoot this film in back-to-back schedules in order to complete the movie quickly. He will director Ranveer Singh immediately after that. We need to wait and see if it really happens or not as filmmakers like Shankar and Rajamouli never compromise which is the secret of their success and the cause for multiple delays and postponements.
