Pawan and Sharat Marar were close friends even before Sharat Marar entered the film industry. Sharat produced two films with Pawan Kalyan but both the films didn't meet expectations. 'Sardaar Gabbar Singh'.. 'Katama Rayudu' turned out to be failures at the box office. As Pawan shifted his focus on to the politics and staying away from films, the distance between him and Sharat increased. But Sharat is depending on Kollywood star Vijay now. Vijay is a big star in Tamil and enjoys superb craze.

It is known that Sharat Marar released Vijay's 'Mersal' movie Telugu version 'Adirindhi'. The movie fared well at the box office and registered good collections. The latest talk is that Sharat Marar made an agreement with Vijay to produce his film. The friendship between them is also increasing as per the talk. Vijay has been eyeing on the Telugu market for a long time. He is planning a film with Sharat Marar so that he can have a grand release in Telugu.
