Finally, 96 Remake Will Start Shooting!

Many speculations and rumors have suggested that Dil Raju might be the person who wanted to produce the remake of 96 at the same time kill the idea.
There were rumors that he had fight with Prem Kumar, the original director, who is retained to direct the Telugu remake, for reasond like change in music director and change in climax.
He wanted a more lighter version and the director did not want to kill the soul of the film, say sources. Finally, Director seems to have won the battle of egos.
Dil Raju wanted to produce the movie in Telugu because of its unique take on love and he too felt that changing it would cause in killing the film and hence, after a latest narration, immediately accepted, it seems.
Govinda Vasanth is scoring music and for Telugu audience, he may change few tunes it seems. Sharwanand and Samantha are coming together for the first time with the movie.
Samantha did say that she seems to have a cosmic connection with Trisha as she is doing some classic romantic roles that Trisha did in Tamil. The movie shoot could start on Ugadi, 6th April and movie could release in August or September.
