Shilpa Shetty has no role in husband's adult content case

Bollywood beauty Shilpa Shetty's husband Raj Kundra is all over the news since his arrest in regard to his role in filming erotic content and publishing them. He has been sent to the police custody going by the court orders.
Addressing the media, the Mumbai Police said that Raj Kundra and his brother-in-law are the key persons behind the racket that is involved in the erotic content filming.
It has been discovered by the cops that Raj Kundra used to send the erotic content to his brother-in-law and from there he used to take care of things like uploading the same on the app that was developed fir such purposes.
It's a payable service for the users. A certain amount was fixed for the users to consume the content making it a source of income to Raj Kundra and co.
With the public sitting and home and glued to the devices, their business went through a massive growth during the pandemic period. The income generated was increased by more than two times.
Before the pandemic hit, Raj Kundra is said to be earning Rs 2-3 lakh daily. After the Covid pandemic, his business increased which also increased his income. His daily income rose to Rs 6-8 lakh.
However, the cops told the media that Shilpa Shetty is not connected with the racket and no evidence was found which says she has a role in the racket.
It has been widely reported that Mumbai Police has been keeping a close eye on Raj Kundra since February this year after his name surfaced in a racket that was into filming and publishing adult content.
After finding evidence that big transactions are being done through his bank account, the Mumbai Police seized Rs 7.5 crore money that belongs to him.
Post Raj Kundra's arrest, Shilpa Shetty is not taking part in her shows. It is reported that she informed the show makers that she can participate in the short for a few more weeks. Following this, the makers are looking for alternative options.
Earlier too, Raj Kundra hit the headlines for the wrong reasons. His name surfaced in 2013 spot fixing scandal and the bitcoin scam.
