Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty has been following the tradition of celebrating Vinayaka Chavithi at her home. Following the same tradition, the actress had brought an idol of Lord Ganesh to home on Wednesday. The pictures of the actress welcoming the lord went viral on social media.
However, the idea to celebrate the famous festival this time had attracted a big controversy with the netizens targeting her over her decision. They found fault with Shilpa Shetty’s decision as her husband Raj Kundra is currently serving jail custody in connection with an adult racket.
As the pictures captured outside Shilpa Shetty’s residence show her in an enthusiastic mood, the netizens questioned how come she can celebrate the festival when her husband is facing jail custody. They are trolling her brutally on social media over her decision.
However, her fans and a section of netizens jumped in support of Shilpa Shetty over the festival row and said, her husband’s case and her decisions to celebrate the festival are two different things and they should not be seen together. It's her personal issue, they said.
Shilpa Shetty's supporters and fans even defended her decision and said, Shilpa Shetty should be appreciated for deciding to celebrate the festival despite dealing with one of the toughest periods of her life.
