Shiva to Re-release on October 5 th

Every hero is desirous of an action movie against his name as it is these movies which truly create an image for him among the masses.Nagarjuna who had an image as a romantic hero became an action hero with ‘Shiva’’
In no time, Nag became a superstar with his life changing film ‘Shiva’ directed by Ram Gopal Varma the same year. Nag also won his first Filmfare award as the best actor for ‘Shiva’.
Shiva is one of the film which changed the way of Tollywood functioning. Even today, if the era of Telugu cinema has to be defined, then many call it ‘Before Shiva’ and ‘After Shiva’.
The movie has changed the direction of Telugu film industry then and marked the debut of ingenious director Ramgopal Varma. The movie was also praised for it's technical brilliance, innovative camera techniques and for it's background score .The double bonus was when ‘Shiva’ was remade into Hindi and became a huge hit there as well.
According to sources the plans are on to re-release Shiva in both Telangana and Andhra Pradesh states. This is on the eve of the film completing 25 years.The film was released exactly 25 years ago i.e on 5 th October 1989
Reports say some biggies in Tollywood are planning for this and if all goes well, the target date would be October 5th.
