MAA Controversy: It's Like Insulting Chiranjeevi!

War of words between Naresh Panel and Shivaji Raja Panel continues even after the completion of MAA Elections. Recently, Naresh Panel held a press conference accusing Shivaji Raja of issuing ultimatum to them over swearing-in of the new office bearers on March 22nd citing his term as President lasts till March 31st.
Today, Shivaji Raja convened a press meet to hit back at Naresh, Jeevitha, Rajasekhar and all those who are backing them. He advised Naresh and Jeevitha to behave in a dignified manner for earning respect as President and General Secretary rather than indulging in cheap stunts. He claimed to be pained by the politics in MAA since the past 4 years.
Shivaji Raja clarified none of the office bearers of MAA will be receiving monthly salaries or any monitory gains. He added, 'Members in all the 26 posts will have to serve the 800 Members of MAA. Here we don't find criminals, but people with egos. I had served in all the posts from EC Member to President with utmost respect. Didn't even had tea in MAA Office at least once. Few people will suddenly come before media with a file. We knew there would be nothing in it. Why they are cheating people in such manner? Why don't they expose if there are any irregularities? I am ready to face the punishment if proven guilty. Are these people ready to face punishment if they fail to prove the allegations? Members asked Me to take rest...I am going to do that! Newly elected MAA Office Bearers don't even have the patience to read the rules. It's been clearly mentioned that elections must be conducted in March and newly elected Office Bearers will take charge in the first week of April. What is the need to approach media on this matter?'.
Shivaji Raja defended his decision to contest for MAA President post for the second consecutive term: 'I had served in every post of MAA for two terms but I don't want to be President again. That is when Chiranjeevi guru told I had the team work spirit. Even Srikanth, Paruchuri Venkateswara Rao and SV Krishna Reddy preferred Me as President. Even the decision to settle in Arunachal Pradesh was mocked by Naresh Panel. I will leave it to their conscience. Would certainly do my bit if my help was sought for MAA'.
Responding on the allegations of irregularities in the US event attended by Megastar, Shivaji Raja clarified: 'Chiranjeevi was the head of the panel constituted to probe the allegations. D Suresh Babu and KL Narayana were members of it. Post the auditing, Panel declared there was no corruption at all. Still, Naresh projected as if corruption happened..It's like insulting Chiranjeevi who booked flight tickets with his own money. Naresh found fault with business class travels without bothering about facts. Myself, Naresh and Paruchuri Venkateswara Rao attended Nadigar Sangam Meeting in Malaysia. Then, Three of us travelled in Business Class itself. Why didn't Naresh travel in ordinary flight at that time if he was so concerned about the MAA Funds? Naresh stayed in a suite room in Malaysia but Myself and Paruchuri Venkateswara Rao preferred normal rooms. After Naresh missed the flight upon getting drunk, We booked ticket for another flight. Wasn't that wrong? Does any of the Star Hero arrives for the event if they aren't given business class tickets?’.

He went on to say, 'Naresh keeps boasting about the Rs 600 crore property near Outer Ring Road in Hyderabad. Had if I am so wealthy, I would have donated Rs 6 crore for the construction of MAA building in Film Nagar. Naresh keeps saying his Mother offered Rs 15,000. I myself praised Vijaya Nirmala's helping nature but MAA Operations can be carried out with just Rs 15,000. Did Naresh donate a single paisa for MAA?'.
