Shocking: Famous Director, His Brother Slapped With Jail Term!

In a shocking turn of events, a popular director from the Tamil film industry and his brother were slapped with jail imprisonment of not less than six months by a local court. Hearing a petition filed in connection with a bank fraud case involving the brothers the court ordered jail imprisonment.
As per the media reports, director N. Lingusamy, who shot to fame with commercial films attracted big trouble as a production house has accused him of not paying back the money and also giving cheques that bounced. The petition filed by the production house was heard by the court earlier today.
It has been widely reported that N. Lingusamy reportedly borrowed some money from the PVP Cinema banner. However, the money is not paid back and the cheques they received bounced. This made the company move the court. Hearing the petition, the Saidapet Court in Chennai ordered a jail term for Lingusamy and his brother Subash Chandrabose.
Though the director and his brother suffered a big shock with the court orders, there is a possibility that they might go for an appeal. The order was given by a local court and they can challenge it in an upper court. If not there, they might receive relief in High Court or Supreme Court. We have to wait and see what happens next.
