SHOT Update: Karthik Subbaraj Promises A Double X Diwali!

Creative filmmaker Karthik Subbaraj who really burst onto the scene with 'Pizza' and 'Jigarthanda' was unable to reach the same level of success in recent times. Despite making big ticket movies like 'Petta', 'Jagame Thantiram' and 'Mahaan', his work left a lot of people disappointed. He showed glimpses of his brilliance in all these movies but was unable to manufacture a complete product in the end.
He is now arriving with a sequel of his super hit flick 'Jigarthanda'. The first part was a sensation and it was remade as 'Gaddalakonda Ganesh' in Telugu and 'Bachchan Pandey' in Hindi. The original had Siddharth playing the hero's role while Bobby Simha won the National Award for his acting in the negative role. For the sequel, he has taken Raghavan Lawrence and SJ Suryah as the lead actors. In order to give an update for the movie lovers, the team of 'Jigarthanda Double X' released 'A SHORT Update'.
It does not reveal the face but we can see a powerful man sitting in front of fire and Santosh Narayanan's music elevates the shot tremendously. It shows nothing but generates good hype on the movie. Written and directed by Karthik Subbaraj, Santhosh Narayanan is the music composer of this flick. S Thirunavukkarasu is the cinematographer while Dhilip Subbarayan designed the stunts, Kaarthijeyan Santhanam and Kathiresan are the producers of this movie which is going to hit the screens in November.
