Normally, our Telugu Cinema or even in Indian Cinema, actresses do not get high remunerations as they usually do not last for long as an actor. An actor, if he becomes a star, than all he has to do is to give a hit once in a blue moon to sustain, while actresses even after being highly successful can only stay upto 5 to 10 years in the limelight.
On contrary, three heroines have opened a new club in our Telugu Cinema. "3 crores remuneration club". All of them, have proved to be highly successful at National level, as they have acted in more than one language. The actresses are, Shraddha Kapoor, Nayantara and Anushka Shetty. Shraddha Kapoor is debuting in Telugu with Saaho and for the movie, the actress will be getting 3 crores remuneration.
Also, Nayantara has asked for 3.5 crores remuneration to act in NBK102. Anushka who is not signing any new movies but looking to complete her previous commitment, Bhagmathi has taken a good fat check of 3.5 crores for the movie as a lead actress. With three of them proving to be equal to the heroes in remuneration, have destroyed the myths of one greater than the other and gender bias. Also, Anushka and Nayantara stayed in the game for more than 12 years and are still at the top, they just do not seize to inspire.
