Heroine Shriya is very popular in South. She has even appeared a few Bollywood films as well. But somehow her career slowed down a few years back and audience thought that her career is over. But Balayya starrer 'Gautami Putra Satakarni' gave a new lease of life to her career. It is known that Shriya achieved good recognition for her role as Vashishti Devi in GPSK. She got another offer in Balayya's next film 'Paisa Vasool' as well.
In a recent interview, she has revealed interesting details about her role in 'Paisa Vasool'. She said that "I want to see myself differently in my upcoming films. My journalist role in 'Paisa Vasool' is like that. I'll have a small story in the film. Puri Jagannadh garu told my story in an interesting manner that who am I.. How did I meet Balakrishna."
When she was asked whether she is the lucky charm to Balayya because she is doing her third film with Balayya, she answered that "This is too much. He has done 100 films. Then why would I be his lucky charm.. in fact, he is my lucky charm."
When she was asked about the special song.. she said that she liked the story very much that's the reason why she acted in that special song. She revealed that she is essaying a police officer role in 'Veerabhoga Vasanta Rayalu' movie. She said that it is a psychological thriller and she is looking forward to joining the shoot.
