On asked about why she gave it up, she explained, 'I have partied with my friends and drank whole night, and consumed more than what we generally do on Saturday nights. I had enough for my life and decided not to touch it again. I am not preaching here whether alcohol is good or bad. I feel my life is better after I gave it up.'
She even added that people don't make it big news when men drink but it becomes a huge controversy when women resort to drinking. She gave her perks of knowledge stating that the reason behind village women drinking is just to withstand the beatings from their husbands. She even questioned the media about why they don't cover such issues.
