It's official: Pawan is repeating Shruti

Contrary to the rumours that Rakul Preet Singh has replaced Shruti Haasan in the upcoming film of Powerstar Pawan Kalyan, producer Sharrat Maraar is here to clarify that the star hero is repeating his Gabbar Singh heroine.
In an official statement, Sharrat today said, "Pawan Kalyan starrer with Shruti Hassan as the heroine to commence shoot in August. Director Dolly team busy with pre production work". Earlier this film was supposed to be directed by SJ Surya but due to the director's acting commitments he's replaced by Dolly.
Meanwhile today a leading English daily published that Rakul Preet replaced Shruti Haasan in this movie, but that seems untrue as producer of Pawan Kalyan clarified.
