There is no need to introduce the name of Michael Corsale to the audience who know about Shruthi Haasan. There were several reports in the media that Shruthi is deeply in love with this London based theater artist.. and she is going to marry him soon.
These reports gained strength as Michael appeared in a Tamil traditional attire wearing silk lungi along with Shruthi Haasan and Kamal Haasan when they attended an event. But Shruthi has never confirmed about her relationship with Michael. She always maintained that Michael is just her friend. She has recently responded to the reports. She said "I will let you know if a surname added to my name. As of now, I don't have any plans for marriage. I don't know whether I will think of marriage in the next two years. The person you are attaching to my name is my dearest friend. He is special to me. I can't say anything more than that. How is it possible to reveal everything about my personal life?"
When she was asked about the reports that she is not signing the new films because she wanted to get married soon, she said "Nothing like that. I have been doing films as a heroine for eight years. I took a break on very few days in all these years. I felt like my life is occupied with work. I was busy with 6-7 films at some stage. I couldn't figure out the difference between my personal life and professional life. I thank god as he made me that busy.. so I'm relaxing now. After working on films like 'Srimanthudu'.. 'Premam', I thought of doing such films in future. I'm waiting for strong woman roles I played in those films. I'm planning to accept characters which satisfy me as an actor."
