Who would have thought an Actress like Nayantara who was embroiled in several controversies would be so apt for the role of Sita until 'Sri Rama Rajyam' was made? People have changed their opinion upon watching Bapu's master piece.
Similarly, There is lots of negative buzz about Nayantara replacing Sai Pallavi in 'Premam' Telugu remake. People jumped to the conclusion that attempting the remake itself is a big bunder and trolled Shruti for the pivotal role she played in the movie. The critics were
silenced after the Telugu version fetched unanimous positive feedback from the movie buffs.
When quizzed about the trolls, Shruti Haasan relied: 'People forgot I'm the daughter of Kamal Haasan. Such things don't bother me at all. I just focussed on how to do justice to the character instead of worrying about the trolls. I tried to play Malar in my style and left a mark of my own. I want my role to be dominating yet very close to reality. Minimal make-up was used. I acted keeping the tastes of Telugu audience in mind. Suggestions given by Director Chandoo Mondeti were useful and he added more entertainment. He has done a wonderful job'.
