The trailer starts off in a contemporary timeline as we see Nani in the role of an aspiring and struggling filmmaker. He runs a romantic relationship with Krithi Shetty. The chemistry between the couple looks very good and there are a fair few steamy shots as well.
Then comes the periodic angle as we are introduced to the world of Shyam Singha Roy, a rebel who stands up against the infamous Devadasi system in West Bengal and goes to any extent to stand by his principles. Sai Pallavi plays a Devadasi and she is seen as Shyam's love interest.
The best thing about the trailer is the beautiful visual storytelling. Sanu John Varghese deserves a pat on the back for his exquisite cinematography. He is a class act. The intensity is carried through the course of the trailer with some riveting background score.
