Siddharth takes a leaf out of Rajamouli's book!
By: Tupaki Desk | 25 Oct 2017 9:46 AM GMTS S Rajamouli is a marketing genius. There is a second opinion in this matter. He is one of the rarest filmmakers who knows how to market their film well. Right from Magadheera, he implemented different strategies to market his films and hero, Siddharth has taken a leaf out of his big book.
Siddharth has been absent from Telugu Cinema right from 2014 as he lost his fan base with disasters like Bava, Chukkallo Chandrudu and others. At the same time, his Tamil films worked big time and he settled down as a hero there with different subjects. Now, he is back in Telugu with a trilingual and in Telugu, it is titled, Gruham. He talked about the film and it's marketing with media.
He said, "I am taking SS Rajamouli as an inspiration in promotions of this movie. I am one of many who were surprised by the guts of the maker when he announced his story before Eega release and asked people to watch the movie after telling the story. We are doing the same. In fact, some of the comments under our trailer asked what do we wish to show in theatres if we show everything in trailer. We did not work for 4 years to make a 2 and half minutes trailer. We believe there are enough thrills to keep you hooked so, you we revealed story in Trailer. In a happy doctor's family life, his neighbour's kid Jenny, becomes an issue. Why and How they solve this issue is our story!"
Well, Eega is a commercial film that needs audience to be prepared for a fantasy while Gruham looks to be suspense thriller. Will the same strategy work? Let's wait for the release of the film and decide.
