Earlier, note Tollywood actor Nani said "What is happening in Andhra Pradesh is not right. It is unfair to suppress the industry which provides livelihood to so many people in such a way. It doesn't make any sense in the first place. A theatre management which provides livelihood to many people is making less money than a grocery store or a pan shop beside their premises. This is a dire situation and it doesn't make any sense. How can this be an economically feasible modus operandi? This irked the AP government and YCP bigwig Botcha Sathyanarayan reacted to the same, saying the government will definitely focus on the film industry in order to keep them from looting the public with their exorbitant ticket pricing systems.

The AP government and its representatives opine that the cinema ticket prices issue is the burning topic in the state now and they are acting accordingly. Now, another senior Tollywood actor Siddharth has dropped cryptic tweets on the whole development.

"Why not regulate land prices? Let the poor who deserve to live in prime localities with their fellow citizens get standardized rate land in their cities? Who owns most of the land in India? I wonder. Private taxis can impose peak hour tariff. Clothing brands can charge premium for latest styles. Cellphones can charge premium for latest models. Film producers and exhibitors cannot charge premium for latest content or high cost offerings." Siddharth tweeted.

"Kill black money, tax legal earning, tell your followers to go to the cinema and support a struggling business. Please. If you cant, thats fine...but please again, leave the film making and film business to itself. How bout reducing the size and amenities of stadiums and reducing the cost of staging cricket matches... Pass on the discount to the customer... question cricketer salaries. They have talent. Actors have what? Entertainment is entertainment. Why this hatred for our industry? People who try to build hotels should only be allowed to build lodges to keep costs down? And then sell food at canteen rates? The exhibitor charges what will recover his investment. Different hotels cater to different people. One can't demand accomodation they can't afford." Siddharth stated.
