Siddharth is coming back to Telugu Cinema with a trilingual, Gruham. The movie is a horror film and the actor is thrilled about it. After almost five years, he is releasing a direct movie in Telugu (as it is a trilingual we can call it direct as well). He talked about the movie at length and told many interesting things.
He said that the movie has been shown to selected audience like in Hollywood to take feedback from audiences and correct the film accordingly. In Hollywood, big summer blockbusters have special scteenings to fans in order to correct the film or spread a positive Word of Mouth before the release. Siddharth too followed the same it seems..
About the screening he said, "I and director Milind Rao, joined at the same time near Mani Ratnam as assistants and we both discussed about Indian Horror films. Whenever used to criticise our films we used to get angry but then realised they are right. So we thought about making a Hollywood standard film with a Indian story. It took for four years to write the story and at times, a script can take such long too. We did a lot of research and developed by taking references from our Friends lives. We learned a lot on this production and we selected 200 people to show the film. Our theatre projectionist gave us a beautiful compliment. He said, the chairs have gone loose due to audience movement out of fear and they had to tighten them. After Bommarillu, this is the best compliment I received!"
