Singer Pranavi stuns with her revelations

Popular Telugu playback singer Pranavi has recently given an interview to a popular You Tube channel, her revelations about the remunerations of playback singers have stunned many. It is known that Pranavi has sung several songs for Top hero films and she is a Nandi Award winner for 'Sarigamapadani' song from 'Snehageetham' movie.
Revealing about the remuneration of playback singers Pranavi told that "Singers are usually paid Rs. 5000 per song. Some times it is as low as Rs.1000 to Rs. 3000. The reason for this kind of low payment is that there are few singers ready to sing for free. So the producers are not ready to pay more for singers. Some film makers pay decent remuneration according to our worth. 'Pelli Chupulu' makers paid me Rs.15000 for a song despite the movie was made on a tight budget".
"If I sing for a Television serial or an ad jingle they will pay Rs.30000. But some big productions houses bargain on paying for Rs.5000". On the other hand, she revealed another astonishing fact that, even though she sung the songs, some film makers put the names of other singers like Shreya Ghoshal. It is known that Pranavi is the wife of popular Tollywood choreographer Raghu. When Raghu came to know about the remunerations of playback singers.. he said to have expressed his shock and told her that he pays more for his assistants.
