Sithara Entertainments Opting For Remakes More!

Well-known production banner Sithara Entertainments has been established by S. Radhakrishna (China Babu). Apart from making big-budget films with Trivikram Srinivas, China Babu established 'Sithara Entertainments' to make other medium and interesting projects. Till date, they made films like 'Premam', 'Shailaja Reddy Alludu', 'Bheeshma', 'Jersey', 'Rang De' and others.
Currently they are producing 'Ayyappanum Koshiyum' remake with Pawan Kalyan and Rana Daggubati as the lead actors. Directed by Saagar Chandra, this Telugu remake has Nithya Menen and Aishwarya Rajesh playing the female leads. The shooting is underway and Thaman is composing the music. This is the biggest film on this banner till date.
On the other hand, they are reports that another remake is being made on this banner. Malayalam film 'Kappela' which came out in 2020 became a good hit and sources claim that it is getting remade as 'Butta Bomma' in Telugu by Sithara Entertainments banner. Young hero Siddhu Jonnalagadda has been roped in as one of the leads while Arjun Das who impressed everyone with his act in 'Khaidi' and 'Master' will be playing the lead. Seems like Malayalam remakes are the hit formula in Tollywood nowadays.
